Ashby: Sources report injury …or is it a bluff?

|

Harrison Ashby

Harrison Ashby is understood to have been injured although contacts of ClaretandHugh are unready to confirm that formally.

The young – and hugely promising right back – was reported by Football:London not to have been seen in training over the last 24 hours as the squad prepared for tonight’s Euro Conference match against Silkeborg in Denmark,

And that in turn has led to widespread speculation that David Moyes may have accepted he could easily be on his way to Newcastle either in the next or the 2023 summer window.

ClaretandHugh revealed a couple of weeks back that Newcastle would almost certainly be his next destination after a key source told us that his agent also looked after Magpies boss Eddir Howe following his move for the player in the last  window,

However separate sources told us this morning that Ashby is Believed to have an injury – an explanation repeated by a second backroom staff member.

We will have to wait until the teams are announced to discover whether any bluff is being enacted!

Do you think Moyes is loosing the dressing room?
To many players want away. Especially the younger academy players. This will be the third now! Something doesn’t seem right. Usually youngsters are grateful of the chances, but with ours, there always seems unrest and at the end, resentment. To loose 3 young academy players is to much of a coincidence.
Then Diop wanted out and refused to play. Dawson wants out and was rumoured to not want to play. Pearce has left the coaching staff.
You can say each have there individual circumstances, but I truly believe something is up.
Moyes treatment of Benrahma, is what can only be described as somewhat off.
Haller wanted out. Moyes off loaded Vlasic for peanuts after splashing nearly £30M. He has now scored 3 gaols in 6 appearance and is currently ranked 5th in Europe in his position. The position that Moyes NEVER played him in. He couldn’t wait to get out the door. You can say what you will, but something is NOT right.

No I don’t. I think you’re making a massive mountain range out of one or two tiny molehills, Eug.
I’m not even going to address each point you’ve tried to make.
