Scamacca injury update

Mikey Antonio looks likely to again lead the Hammers attack in yet another critical clash – this time against Chelsea at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Gianluca Scamacca remains doubtful according to ExWHUEmployee after the player has been given a series of knee injections, and specialist treatment.

However, there remain big doubts about the striker who at best could be expected to be on the bench although frankly it seems impossible he will be anywhere near the squad this weekend.

However, even if he were to be it seems unlikely again that the manager would want to change a team which did so well at Newcastle in gaining a valuable point.

And most would probably agree that Antonio is showing much improved form over the last three or four games and would deserve to keep his place anyway.

The only new injury worry is Kehrer leaving question marks over who fills the central defensive opposition should he not make it.
