West Ham United’s hunt for a new manager takes another interesting turn as “super agent” Pini Zahavi reportedly enters the picture.

Zahavi is no stranger to West Ham, having facilitated deals for players like Eyal Berkovic and Rio Ferdinand in the past. He also maintains ties with David Sullivan through a mutual advisor.

West Ham’s search for David Moyes’ replacement has been wide-ranging, with links to as many as 14 managers in recent weeks. Ruben Amorim and Julen Lopetegui are among the reported candidates who have held talks with the club.

Former Bayern Munich and Germany manager Hansi Flick has emerged as a potential frontrunner. His availability due to his current unemployment eliminates any transfer fee for West Ham.

Zahavi is reportedly pushing for a hefty £20.5 million package for Flick, which includes a three-year contract with a salary comparable to his Bayern Munich earnings.

Despite a disappointing stint with the German national team, Flick boasts an impressive club management career. He led Bayern Munich to a clean sweep of trophies during his two-year tenure, including the Champions League, Bundesliga titles, and domestic cups.

West Ham maintains that no decision has been made regarding David Moyes’ future, and any contact with potential managers is purely contingency planning….Yeah right!

Nevertheless, West Ham’s stop, start managerial search continues with an unexpected twist. The potential involvement of “super agent” Zahavi and the possibility of a high-profile appointment in Hansi Flick add another layer of intrigue to the saga.

No paella Moyes and no Silkman clients. With Flick we may get uber footy.

    • Silkster says:

FYI Silkman has done 3 deals at West Ham in years. Ogbonna. Soucek. Paqueta. You think they are all bad signings ? Also he is the one who recommended Flick . Oh and Silkman was the person who convinced the club to keep Rice and get rid of Oxford and everyone disagreed with him except the chairman. You have the wrong person

  • Ess_Bee says:

Well, if this is true, I believe it will be a great thing for the Hammers. He will have the Hammers playing a decent brand of football. I think Sully really needs to bite the bullet and go for Flick.

  • Trevor Miles says:

Let’s just get an appointment sorted and stop dragging our heels.

Tim Steidten done an amazing job at leverkusen, So give the job of looking after the football, and you Sully look after the pennies.

I’m old enough to remember the glorius 60’s and thank Moyes for a good few years,

    • Peter Ormiston says:

Why are we always being linked to this one and that one and end up with some has been, look at all the players we were linked with, what would we do without Bowen sullivan should spend the money he’s made enough out off this club.

    • Graham Watts says:

Like you I go back to the early 60s and the last 4 years of relative stability has been welcome after many years of relative obscurity..
Moyes also managed to stop Sullivan mouthing off to the media! I believe he is also sorting out our under performing youth academy which hasn’t produced a decent first team player in 20 years.

  • D.f.butcher says:

    Wasn’t he in allo allo
