Irons dressing room unrest may be growing

|

There appears to be growing unrest in the Hammers dressing room with player after player making subtle and not so subtle comments on their feelings.

Alphonse Areola is the latest having posted a photo with the caption ‘People like to be around those who give off positive energy’

As pointed out by Six Foot Two – West Ham Magazine Site (6foot2.co.uk) he of course remains No 2 to Lukasz Fabianski when, after signing a new deal, may well have believed  he would have taken over as first choice by now.

Michail Antonio has been outspoken on his podcast a number of times and made it clear he was unhappy with being seen as a back up striker after the signing of Gianluca Scamacca and seemingly looking for a move to Wolves.

Vladimir Coufal explained his own position in similar terms whilst , Tomas Soucek and Ben Johnson are all unhappy with their current deals .

Pablo Fornals, Manuel Lanzini and Said Benrahma are also claimed to be upset in the limited game time they are getting from the manager.

Danny Ings must be wondering why David Moyes purchased him in January with only 68 minutes in four games so far.

While Flynn Downes have been getting valuable minutes on the pitch recently he could soon be relegated on the bench again with the return of Lucas Paqueta.

I know that the players are not happy and I know they have not been happy for a long time. A good friend of mine is a close neighbour of one of the players. The player has said on several occasions that the mood is poor and the two main reasons are Moyes negativity and player bias. The mad thing this player is a regular and he has said he and other regulars are also not happy. Thus us extremely concerning. He has to be sacked and the board are beginning to look extremely foolish and unprofessional.

Players are always upset when they are not regularly in the team. I would be upset if they weren’t !

To little to late…if the players were really concerned they should of grown a set and gone to Moyes and said that things need to change as playing this way(which as fans we all see)is killing the team and come up with ways to make changes…..no need to be confrontational but clearly something should of been done a long time ago. 52 premier league matches 14 wins says it all doesn’t it
