West Ham United is gearing up for a summer of significant change, with a potential exodus of players and a cloud of uncertainty over the managerial position.
Reports suggest that as many as 12 players could depart the London Stadium at the conclusion of the current season, necessitating a major squad overhaul.
The situation is further muddied by the unclear future of manager David Moyes. Left-back Aaron Cresswell, reportedly on the chopping block, has been offered a one-year contract extension by West Ham. However, Cresswell has seemingly rejected the offer.
It is somewhat odd that he was even offered a contract as he is definitely not the player he was. Also he is 34 and has only played 15 times this season
Cresswell’s contract rejection removes a potential headache for West Ham‘s ownership. The club can now freely pursue a new left-back to challenge Emerson Palmieri for the starting spot.
The Irons are set for a transformative summer. A significant number of player departures are anticipated, along with the possibility of a new manager at the helm. The success of the upcoming transfer window will be crucial for the club’s competitiveness next season
Could the new Cresswell be another Moyes calamity?
This sadly would leave the club with a non-playing player going into the new season, blocking the way for a potentially good academy player or brand new Premier standard player. Come on WH board. Time to stop the rot.

Agreed. The timing of this has me a little worried. If the club really don’t know who the manager is going to be next season, why are they offering Cresswell a new contract right now?
Why on earth woluld we offer cresswell a new contract ?
He is finished at this level .
