West Ham have Leicester incentive

|

West Ham go into their final game of the season at Leicester City this weekend with a decent chance of ending the season in 13th place.

With £2 million available for each league position the incentive is clear. Wolves have to travel to Arsenal for their final game of the season whilst Bournemouth – the only club who can overtake us – meet Everton at Goodison Park.

Mind you that excludes the possibility of a ridiculous 19-goal swing on the final day between the Hammers and Nottingham Forest who travel to Palace for their final game.

While West Ham’s primary focus will be on next month’s Europa Conference League final, taking place ten days after the trip to Leicester against Fiorentina in Prague, the £2 million extra will be well worth playing for.

It will also be fascinating to see what sort of team David Moyes puts out for a game which is huge importance to the Foxes with themselves and Everton locked in a last day relegation scenario.

If Chelsea lose the last 2, we win and there’s a 6 goal swing we’ll go above them!

Just off topic, but I keep reading on the site Newsnow West Ham Utd FC, that Moyes appears to be involved in determining the players HE wants for next season. With his managership of WHU situation everchanging, how can this be? Or is it continual misreporting by other journalists. Would appreciate some feedback on this please.
