|

Slaven Bilic has revealed that FC Midtjylland’s scorer against Manchester United Pione Sisto was a serious West Ham target last summer.

Sisto gabbed a 44th minute equaliser against ManchesterUnited last night before the Danes went on the beat the Premier League hotshots.

And it emerge in an interview with ITV that Bilic had been very much on the youngster’s case before learning that he would prefer to spend the next 12 months with FC Midtjylland.

The Hammers boss revealed: “We wanted him as one for the future. He has pace, power, can change direction and can play left and right . He is very brave and has a great engine.Yes we wanted him.

“But to give credit to him and those around him he decided to stay for another year and continue his development.”

Then we should have bought him and loaned him straight back as other Clubs seem to do.
That’s building for the furure, probably miss out on him now.

This isn’t news the club announced it had agreed a fee with Midtjyland for him during our preseason, I think it was 6.5 million, then when the player said he was staying in Norway because he didn’t feel he was ready for the PL yet we bought Antonio.

Our target is simple :: Win the FA Cup and finish in the top six . If that’s simple ! .
It would seem like a double ,, but it is achievable .
