United to be without EIGHT players

|

Old-Trafford-Stadium-Manchester-UnitedManchester United are likely to be without EIGHT key players for the clash against the Irons at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney, Will Keane, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are all  out and Antonio Valencia and Adnan Januzaj played for the under-21’s on Friday night so are unlikely to be ready.

Juan Mata is banned after his red card against West Brom last week and Phil Jones and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson are unlikely to be involved due to fitness.

Chris Smalling is back fit and in the heart of the United defence and he said: “They are in good form and they will attack us, so it’s not a game where we will attack and they will just defend. Hopefully that will benefit us.

“I’ve played many rounds in recent years with United but we have not been able to win the trophy and that is something I want to deliver.”

I am glad Smalling is fit because Sak will destroy him,he is just a journeyman defender,
With players like him they will have trouble playing out from the back,
So it’s back to the portfolio of Van Gail 200 pages of the old long ball and chase lent to him by Hippo,
Can’t believe we are not 1/2 favourites at the bookies got 11/4 yesterday that keep me in beer next week,
