The Daily Mail is tonight reporting that Diafra Sakho’s move to West Brom is off.
And they claim that the striker is now back in the south of France to get fit for the new season after the Baggies pulled out of his £16 million switch.
Albion are reported to have concerns after his medical that Sakho would not be fit for the opening fixture against Crystal Palace.
Details are obviously sketchy and it is not clear why the club would pull out entirely from a deal on the strength of him missing the opening games or whether they will revisit it later.
