Sullivan excited by new arrival

|

calleri1David Sullivan is excited by the arrival of Jonathon Calleri and has declared: ““We expect him to be one of our top goalscorers this season.”

The co chairman said: “He’s a top player and was the leading goalscorer this season in the Copa Libertadores, the South American version of the Champions League.

“He is the immediate back up for Argentina who are the number one rated team in the world.

“He showed his quality at the Olympic Games for Argentina this summer and will be another great addition to the squad.

“We have a great track record of signing players from Argentina with Carlos Tevez and Manuel Lanzini becoming big players at West Ham United. It would be great if Jonathan could follow in their footsteps.

How can you forget the Costa incident when that incident should of lead to a red card which would of meant him not being on the pitch to score the winner. I agree we were poor and didn’t deserve a win but you can’t just forget a situation like that.

Antonio is one of the best players ever to grace West ham . It would be a great shame if we lose him due to stupidity .
Calleri , Another loan player hoping to impress . We all hope he does .
As for comparing him other players from Argentina ; a waste of time in my opinion .
Tevez was never all he is cracked up to be , and only has a kind of hero worship because he scored that goal at Old Trafford . We don’t need to see him again . I know some fans on this forum will try to hang me , but , Tevez was one of the bad things that happened to West Ham . He never scored so many goals and was a bad influence in the dressing room and on the pitch . It led to the sacking of Alan Pardew , who was , for me not so bad as people like to make out . That has always been my opinion .
Slaven Needs to sort things out with so many unknowns being signed on loan .
A few more performances like last Monday and our season is in danger of being an almighty calamity . Forget the Costa incident ; it was 11 against 11 and we were horrible.
