Iron Man Bilic loves his night at the movies

|

2476-0West Ham’s stars went to the movies last night and got a taste of what it must be like to tread the Hollywood boards.

Ok, it was the Genesis Cinema in Mile End but never mind,  the premiere of Iron Men was a resounding success.

Not even Hollywood however , would have witnessed the sort of audience responses we saw down the east end last night.

Dimitri Payet’s appearances were welcomed with a chorus of disapproval whilst Winston Reid’s winner against Manchester United received a rapturous reception.

Manager Slaven Bilic thoroughly enjoyed the night and said: “I didn’t want to watch the movie on computer, or DVD, or whatever, I wanted to save it for tonight and it’s great.

“It’s about last season of course, the story of the season at the Boleyn Ground and I was excited to see it. It’s a really good night for West Ham.

‘The film will always be a great film, but that last game made it a special one. How did they know that we’re going to have that game?! The perfect ending! It couldn’t have been better.’

It’s a great film and one which all Hammers supporters will want to own and it is now available  at the club shop-retail and web and all Digital platforms including itunes in 43 countries.
