reece-oxford-west-ham-england_3320617Reece Oxford’s experience will be vital as England’s under 19s go for qualification in the UEFA European Championship Finals over the next few days according to England U19 manager Keith Downing.

The youngsters face Norway, Spain and Belarus in the UEFA Elite Round Qualifiers with the group winners advancing to the tournament in Georgia this summer.

Downing said: “Reece Oxford has most recently been with the U20s, but for this campaign will be a key member of the group heading into three crucial Euro qualifiers.

“Reece will add his qualities to help bolster our chances of reaching this summer’s finals in Georgia.

“To have that flexibility across the age groups is testament to the working relationship between our national coaches as we look to maximise the talent we have at our disposal.”

Apart from Oxford, West Ham’s outstanding Academy goalkeeper Nathan Trott is also involved.
