Hammers set to move for keeper

|

West Ham are reportedly setting up a £4m move for Manchester United keeper  Sam Johnstone.

The 25 year-old has been on loan at Aston Villa since January 2017 and has impressed scouts who have watched him regularly.

And with United recently activating their  option to extend Jonstone’s contract by a year to 2019 the Mirror reports  West Ham will have to find a fee to secure him.

The keeper has been sent out on loan seven times at United but has also represented England at several levels including the under 20s.

Meanwhile, Hammer loanee at Villa Robert Snodgrass has spoken of his love of the club and his determination to see them promoted from the Championship.

They currently sit in fourth place in the Championship – 10 points behind second placed Cardiff City but looking well on course for a play off place.
