West Ham Season Ticket Renewal rate revealed

|

Despite polls suggesting that Season Ticket Holders would vote with their feet after a season of discontent, West Ham had a record number of season ticket holders renew at the London Stadium.

The renewal figure of nearly 92% this morning is actually up on last year’s 90% figure even though it was the first time many new West Ham supporters had an option not to renew. Over 5,000 band 5 season ticket holders who paid £289 per year were required to sign up for the first two seasons.

The appointment of Manuel Pellegrini and his attacking style of football seems to have been a big factor in many fan’s decision to renew for next season.

Around 4,500 London Stadium seats will now be made available for those on the 48,000 season ticket waiting list and the club are predicting a 50% take-up rate meaning the club has contacted the first 9,000 on the list. Many of these will be required to commit for two seasons.
