Poll: Fans give verdict on Hammers pay cut

|

Hammers fans are agreed the squad need to make their contribution to the problems surrounding our club and football by taking a pay cut.

ClaretandHugh has been closely following developments and the Premier League is currently in talks with the Professional Footballers’ Association with a view to getting agreement.

But in the meantime a big majortiy of those voting in a CandH poll believe the players should be ready to take a 50 per cent cut on their wages.

A total of 512 (61.1 pc) reckon that’s a fair cut whilst 179, or 21.36 per cent, believe that 20 per cent was the most reasonable option.

Ninety five , or 11.34 per cent, thought that the highly paid stars of the game should accept a 70 per cent cut while 52 (6.2 per cent) even believed that they should see their wages scrapped completely.
