A note of caution

A note of caution for all West Ham fans about the UEFA ban after the Europa League draw.

That special night in Prague, when West Ham ended our 43-year major trophy drought by lifting the Europa Conference League, will live long in the memory.

But due to some idiots throwing objects and hitting the Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi , we were quite rightly punished.

UEFA  hit us with a £50k fine and a fan ban.

European football’s governing body then decided that West Ham fans will be banned from travelling to two away matches on the continent in this season’s Europa League.

BUT the second away game ban is suspended for two years, which essentially means it will sit on file and should there be any further incidents, it will be activated.

It means NO West Ham fans will be able to attend our first away match in the Europa League group stages

Which means that the SC Freiburg v West Ham game on October 5th will be strangely silent from a Hammers point of view.
