Adebayor Deja-Vu time again

|

Veteran striker Emmanuel Adebayor is in line for a shock return to the Premier League claim the Sun newspaper

And it will come as little surprise that West Ham is once again being linked with the free-agent along with Sheffield United and Watford

The humorous report says the 35-year old wants to play in London after previous spells with Arsenal and Spurs.

He has not played in England since 2016, when he joined Istanbul Basaksehir after a six-month spell at Crystal Palace.

Adebayor also spent four years at Manchester City under Roberto Mancini leaving before Pellegrini took over.

Of course this, not the first time the Hammers have been linked with Adebayor, in 2015 he was on the verge of signing for West Ham when Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy pulled the plug on the deal on deadline day. That deal would have involved West Ham picking up the striker’s £110,000 per wages in return for signing the then 31-year-old for free.
