West Ham have snapped up a bargain in Swiss striker Albian Ajeti who has joined the club on a four year deal with a two year option.

Having been scouted many times by the club, he has finally joined with the finances looking very good from the Hammers point of view and his own at this stage of his career.

We understand that the 22 year old striker agreed personal terms of around £30k a week with appearance money clauses built in.

He looks set – apart from Diangana leaving for the Hawthorns on a loan – to be the last piece of business of this window despite reports this morning that we could be in for another defender and defensive midfielder.

We have been toldby an insider on e mail  that could only happen were anyone other than Diangana to leave and although there are somersaults and double somersaults at this stage of the window that it is now very unlikely.

Great window, if Hernandez leaves to free up more space and we get Long and another could be even better.

Agree with No.32. He looks composed & capable. A strike force – at last ! Now to improve the defence,; which is our main problem.
