Ajeti to Celtic move goes on hold

|

Albian Ajeti’s move to Celtic is on hold with a decision expected from the player on whether he’s ready to join the Scottish Premier outfit over the next couple of days.

Although the two clubs have agreed a deal which would see the Swiss international striker arrive on a loan  with an option to buy,  the striker is still considering the move.

A London stadium source revealed to Claretandhugh this afternoon that the player wanted more time to decide on a switch which will see him leave West Ham after making just 12 appearances since he joined in August of last year.

We were told: “The situation remains on hold whilst the player makes up his mind although we expect a decision to be made over the next 24 to 48 hours.”

There’s the possibility that the player has other options available to him and wants the extra time to decide on which he wants to take.”
