West Ham United’s quest for a new manager continues to be a saga filled with twists and turns, leaving fans frustrated and yearning for a clear direction.

The driving force behind this search is the deep dissatisfaction with David Moyes’ stewardship. His perceived negative tactics, resulting in a string of poor results, have alienated a significant portion of the fanbase. Many supporters crave a modern approach that prioritises attacking, progressive football.

Julen Lopetegui initially emerged as a potential candidate, appealing to the ownership due to his lack of transfer fees. However, his style of play, seen as uninspiring and similar to Moyes’, sparked criticism from fans. Recent reports suggesting Lopetegui might choose West Ham over AC Milan caused further anxiety.

Thankfully, for a large section of the West Ham faithful, Italian news brings a glimmer of hope.According to Football Italia Lopetegui has reportedly opted for Milan, leaving West Ham with a renewed opportunity to find the right manager.

The ideal candidate remains elusive. West Ham fans are looking for a coach who embodies a philosophy completely opposite to Moyes’. They envision someone who will implement a brand of football that is exciting, fast-paced, and focused on attacking.

The managerial search continues, and with each passing day, the pressure mounts. West Ham needs to find the right leader to not only appease the fans but also to elevate the team’s performance on the pitch

Moyes2 coming for sure and continue ignoring academy players and giving them zero hope of getting into first team

Is there anything that’s not doom and gloom and actually true ? Rsther than the scattergun approach with everything ..surely they have learned by the past 4 year mistakes in transfer business 😂..Jesus its like is anyone actually good at there job behind the scenes…..God I wish they would just sell the club and let someone run it who has a little BUISNESS acumen..ffs

Has Sullivan learnt nothing from last 4 years? If he goes for his usual cheapest option (Moyes 2.0) then we will be back at the beginning again. Promises are just words if not backed up with action.

I have some faith that Tim Steidten will pull us through, and insist on a modern progressive manager to match his own vision. Every team has to defend correctly, but park the bus and let them lay siege is a dinosaur approach to be left behind. The pragmatists, BFS and Moyes, have had their day..

Believe me. Don’t bother. He can’t manage footballers just money. Don’t waste your time on this banker in a tracky

One day we will not be the laughing stock of the football world and that day will be when David leaves West Ham

  • John says:

Arsenal Wegner. Arsenal nose dived when he left after fans kept complaining that he could only get into the top 4 every season. That will happen to us without Moyes. Be grateful we aren’t fighting relegation for last few years.
