Sam Allardyce has claimed that whilst none of them would admit it, the West Ham players would sit in the dressing room under his management saying “Listen to them – never happy, slaughtering us all the time.”
And he added: “You could hear the fans behind the dugout saying”F…… get up back you northern bastard.”
Allardyce – serialising his new book ‘Big Sam’ in The Sun – takes a mighty pop at the club this morning adding he’s lost it in a press conference snapping: “All this tippy tappy stuff and everybody going on about the right way to play. It’s a load of b…….
He discusses his departure and how he had told David Sullivan he was going to leave, how he approached the TV cameras to announce the decision to find the board had got there the second the whistle had blown.
He said: “I don’t have to worry about the West Ham Way. I did a bloody good job at West Ham. The club is in its best shape for ages. So what exactly do the fans and board think they can achieve, Champions League football, a top six finish?”
He added that he stands by his accusation that the fans are deluded by the West Ham Way and claims it’s a millstone around the club’s neck.
I bet a load of the players were also talking behind his back saying the fans loved it when we played attacking football but look now we are hoofing long diagonals again and squandering leads by our inability to keep posession.
Hmm BILIC comes in and says BFS stabilised club etc not one mention of how dire the football was, and this petulant fat head still doesn’t understand. He’s making himself look like the moron we all believe he was
He has only underlined everything the fans have said about him,
