Sam Allardyce has revealed that he wants sign another five players this summer.
And he has revealed the club is in negotiations for various players having made “many bids.”
He says ideally he needs a left-back, a centre-back, a midfielder and two forwards before the start of next season.
Co-owner David Sullivan has regularly claimed that players will have to be moved out to bring in the number of players the club wants but that certainly three or four new faces can be expected.
The Hammers have been linked with World Cup stars like Ecuador’s Jefferson Montero and Algeria’s Islam Slimani.
And Allardyce told West Ham TV: “We’ve made many bids and there are many negotiations ongoing.
“We particularly want a left-back, ideally another centre-back, a midfielder and at least two more for the front line.”
