Martin: ‘Club needs grabbing by scruff of the neck’

|

Alvin Martin of West Ham United in actionAlvin Marin has delivered his verdict on the state of the club and reckons someone needs to take it by the scruff of the neck.

The talkSport presenter declared: “This is a very delicate and complex situation at West Ham. It’s not open and shut.

“There are a lot of West Ham fans who were 50/50 whether they liked him or they didn’t like him. (Sam Allardyce).

“When I’m asked about it, it’s not just about was it right to make a change? It’s what was the alternative? – If they didn’t make a change, they had to offer him a new contract; what terms would it be on?”

“No one can argue that Allardyce doesn’t have plenty of  Premier League experience and a CV to do well at any club around a mid-table sort of level.

“However, West Ham now have the tools to be much more than that and they will be looking to progress domestically next season and to make the most of their gifted position in the Europa League.

“Someone needs to grab the club by the scruff of the neck and the board clearly didn’t feel that Allardyce was worth the financial gambled, weighed against those pressures for the club to improve.

“Whether it turns out to be the right decision remains to be seen, but the new man coming in has a real opportunity to create something special by the time of the club’s move to the Olympic Stadium.”

Alvin you forgot to say who you thought this person should be,
There was a small minority who were 50/50 there was a even smaller minority who liked him
But there was a massive majority who disliked his football style and his attitude

Kevin wont like this,he will be on later to tell Alvin he is talking sh*t & to tell us all off.Spoonie was saved,Kevin is a lost cause im afraid 😉

So it’s a delicate situation that needs to be taken by the scruff of the neck is it? Bless him

It’s the wrong decision ,, end of story ….. Not going to say anymore UNTILL we see the regret of such a decision … Alvin didn’t really say anything really .
Europa League should be great for West Ham , but , without Big SAM we will suffer in the Prem . Finishing 12th wasn’t that bad either ….. Are we in the Prem ?? : Yes .
    You were right , Rads ; I don’t like it .
The cleverest club by far was Crystal Palace signing Alan Pardew …. If we truly needed a change he would have been my number one choice …. , but too late now .
West Ham must now be very careful of having dilusions of Granduar .

Ehi Kevin, a serious question. Are you a West Ham fan or a Samuel Allardyce fan? What do you want for your team’s future?

  • Rads says:

The only delusion of granduer i have seen at west ham recently was hippo, who thought he was the most sophisticated, flexible manager in the Prem. Now if that isnt someone with delusions firing bullsh*t pellets out of their ar*e i dont know what is.Keep taking the tablets i prescribed to you Kev.They will kick in eventually, then your Hippo love rash will clear up 😉

  • mattefumi says:

lol… Kevin you come here every night at the same time writing your monologue… you should publish a book “The sun comes up at midnight – nocturnal intuitions of the last Sam Lover”… I’d buy it…

  • Quickdraw is going loco says:

Haha Matte it could be true, wise old Kevfucius says “Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it. The beauty of the long ball is eternal. Respect the point and others will respect you. The cleaner the sheet the cleaner the soul. The more careful a wish the less chance it’s a curse.” Lol

  • TysonM says:

Matte i think you have finally lost your grip on reality.Hippo has got to you, lol.Good to see Kevin came on last with his wise words. What a geezer,my hero,Master Shifu of Claret & Blue 😉

Kevin you are so entertaining,it’s better than live at the appolo,
Your football knowledge is on par with greats like Delia Smith and David Cammeron,
Have you got confused with our shirt colours and are a Burnley fan ?
Because your suggestion would fit very well with there future,
    See you tomorrow

  • mattefumi el loco says:

haha.. yes, I know, unfortunately I’m trapped in an alternate dimension, I live into an interdimensional space between long balls and sophisitcated excuses…

  • Tony gore says:

Alvin, I have been a supporter since 1963. and no one has done what you say FACT I have been satisfied with the football up until hippo started ,alias HIGH HORSE DICK,a return to normal football without some Pratt telling or promising miricles,as you know they don’t work
