Ancelotti says he will take a year sabbatical to address a medical issue. The sacked Real Madrid manager says he intends to take a lengthy break. Ancelotti said before he was sacked today “I’ve said it before and I can only repeat it: I’ll stop for a year [if I am sacked],” said Ancelotti. “I also have a very serious reason to stop, I need to have an operation for cervical stenosis. For some time I’ve been having tingling in my hands, if I wait any longer it may spread to my legs, so I’ve made an appointment for surgery. Frankly, I don’t know how long I’ll have to physically stop, for the post-operative phase and subsequent rehabilitation.”

I just googled it and found this ….. ‘After your surgery, you aren’t going to be instantly better. You will most likely be out of bed within 24 hours, and you’ll be on pain medications for 2 to 4 weeks’
He does not need the money and as soon as he is fit and healthy he will get a job,might be what we need at Xmas if the new manager does not work out
Sounds like the number of contenders are dropping Rafa probably going to Madrid,a Dutch contributor said FdB just signed a new contract at Ajax,Emery going to AC and now Carlo out of the running. Hamburgs hopes must be raising. Some of the names floating around worry me but I’d rather have a little concern than be bored,IMO whoever we get will be better than the hippo.
