The Hammers look set to have both Felipe Anderson and Samir Nasri available for Monday night’s derby clash at Stamford Bridge.
Both were missing from the Everton defeat and didn’t it show!
However, giving an update on the pair at his presser today (Fri) Maneul Pellegrini revealed the pair had joined the squad this week raising hopes that both would see action on Monday.
Nasri was particulalrly badly missed against The Toffees after his craft and guile had turned things round from 1-3 down against Huddersfield.
Anderson was omitted having taken a knock in training but has recovered and looks certain to be in the squad at the very least.
Mark Noble was missing from the squad too following a family bereavement but he is set to become available for a match which could also see the return of Fabian Balbuena.
The manager said: “Felipe Anderson couldn’t play the last game, and Nasri too, but they have worked with the squad.”
Really hope Nasri’s injuries have just been getting use to be back in football regularly after year & half off.
Bc he has been a huge difference maker for us the little bit he has played but before we give him even higher wages (bc £70k-80k isn’t enough) I’d like to know its not another Carroll or Wilshere. Bc if is be better to replace.
