Andy Carroll could require an operation

|

YogaDavid Moyes says Andy Carroll’s ankle injury is serious which could require a future operation confirming he is out of action for the month of January at least.

False media speculation suggested Carroll was on an unofficial strike to force through a move to Chelsea and alleged that a hospital scan on his ankle didn’t show anything up.

This speculation moved one step further yesterday when the Daily Mail published a picture of the West Ham striker with his wife after a yoga workout despite claiming he cannot train.

Moyes used his London Evening Standard column to set the record straight by saying “What may defuse much of the speculation is that the ankle injury Andy picked up against West Brom is sufficiently serious that he will not be able to play again this month anyway and it could even need an operation to put things right, although that has not yet been confirmed.”

Claret and Hugh reported consistently there was never any prospect of Carroll joining Chelsea and only the faintest possibility of a loan which never developed into a formal inquiry or bid from Chelsea.

Thank heavens it’s not true that he’s feigning injury to manipulate a move a la Sakho, otherwise he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on…oh.hang on a minute…

There must be justification now for his contract to be terminated due to the constant level of injuries, his salary for a long time now has not been justified, I don’t see Sam rushing to sign him now?? we need a replacement in this window.

Moyes gets to keel him but him & Antonio out for who knows how long. Smallest squad in PL. We have a real chance at a good FA cup run maybe even win but need to buy some players.
And 2 we linked with Dendockner we have greenlight to get & £15m could do it & Rafa has out Shelvey up for Sake no my first choice but hopefully Mkyes could sort him out. And I would bid on Wilshere who still hasn’t got new contract want him to take paycut why not make a bid.

If only he was faking Injury & in would tell Chelsea can have him for £5-10m & five u Hart too

I think he should be prescribed a family holiday to Dubai, followed by pool party in Ibiza and warm weather physio in Brazil.
