Another Hammer enters the jungle

|

It’s that time again when a bunch of celebrities enter the jungle as part of ITV’s I’m a celebrity get me out of here and the show wouldn’t be complete without a former Hammer in the line-up.  Last year former West Ham player and manager Harry Redknapp was crowned king of the jungle.

He was the third former Hammer after Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and Kieron Dyer took part in the show in previous years.

This year former Hammer Ian Wright enters the jungle on Sunday as celebrities are humiliated with tasks and starved of food.

The formal Arsenal striker joined the Hammers in July 1998 for £500,000. He spent fifteen months as a West Ham player, scoring the winner on his debut against Sheffield Wednesday. During his spell there he made headlines when he vandalised the referee’s dressing room at Upton Park after being sent off during a match against Leeds United.

Wright made 20 appearances for West Ham scoring nine goals.
