Antonio’s ‘gaffe’ after Watford defeat

|

Michail Antonio is the latest player to be caught out on social media by liking the wrong thing at the wrong time.

The injured Hammer of the Year will have done himself no favours in the Hammers dressing room by ‘liking’ a Twitter comment describing the team’s performance at Watford as a “shambles.”

Out with a rib injury since the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the end of October, Michail liked the tweet,  sharing the back page from the Daily Star.

It said that Moyes’ debut was “a shambles” after the boss himself  questioned the commitment of his players.

Moyes had added that some players needed to start living up to their reputations and to prove themselves to him and show why they had become regulars in the team.

Antonio is hoping to make his return to the squad on Friday night for the LS game against Leicester City as the manager looks at his  possible reshuffle options.

If he is jus liking what is true then n.p.
He has acted a bit strange lately, which is worrying. I hope he plays on Friday and gets back to his best.

He has acted strangely lately and this would indicate he doesn’t have much solidarity with his team mates which is consistent with his whole body language at Palace. Put that with Noble’s comment about players talking behind each ither’s backs and it all starts to look very worrying.

Noble said: “You have to stick together and work hard and as soon as you start having a go at each other, it becomes hard.

i don’t believe he was referring to the players themselves, but rather the reaction of the crowd. he was asked about the crowd beforehand and also said:

“As much as we’re not performing on the pitch at the minute, we need them to stick by us.”

Each other doesn’t mean us ?
If he does then he’s having a go at Carroll for having a pop ???
He means them not us .

Players are not stupid !! Players getting picked on reputation and not merit doesn’t go unnoticed lol. Moyes needs to get the broom out ,a big wide council one and shove the deadwood out the door . no sentiment just sweep !!! 🔜

It was true w have played in Shambles all season. But Antonio of recent as worried me hasnt been his usual upbeat 110% self.
As for the team we don’t have a team we have a bunch of individuals on a pitch.
