Benrahma will be hoping to do a Bowen

|
Jarrod Bowen made his Hammers debut at Liverpool last year – will it be the same for Said Benrahma tomorrow?(Sat).
He will be hoping so and that – like the former Hull City player – his Hammers career takes off more or less immediately. The new boy has had a full week’s training and is from all reports looking very good.
Moyes is a creature of habit by and large and one would expect him to stay true to form by perhaps taking the same course and thus it’s probably unlikely the former Brentford player will be in the starting line up.
However, should the 25 year old be able to emulate Jarrod when he does get his chance we will be so strong down the left and right sides so most of us would love a first glimpse of him against the Reds.
Bowen meanwhile is pretty happy with the way things are going for him and the team after his £23k million transfer to the club and looking for success against the champions.
He said: “I think I said before the end of last season that we wanted to start this season the way we finished the back end of last season.
“We chucked the Newcastle game away and that wasn’t good enough, but ever since that Newcastle game we’ve played against teams nobody thought we’d get any points against and we’ve picked up points on the way.
We could have got more victories, but to get the number of points we’ve got is credit to the lads, the coaching staff and the gaffer.
“Now we’ve got another tough game coming up, so it’s another game to apply ourselves in and get some more points.”
