Big Sam: “Ravel not type to grit teeth and play on”

|

Grumpy AllFrustrated Sam Allardyce has made his feelings known on Ravel Morrison’s mystery ‘injury’ declaring: “Listening to our medical staff, there is no problem that he can carry on – not at all,”

Morrison appears to be on the verge of a loan move but a source close to talks told Claretandhugh this afternoon : “Harry Redknapp has made his interest public over at QPR but there’s other interest.

“Bolton, Burnley and Leicester City are all interested and it’s really a case of which club will serve the lad’s interests best.”

Allardyce, meanwhile – continuing to discuss the players groin problem – said: “He says he feels it occasionally. Instead of gritting your teeth and getting on with it… he’s not the type.

“Lots and lots of players throughout the country will be playing with a similar type of injury that the medical team say ‘you can carry on, it’s not a problem’.”
