Bilic names four who have impressed him in training

|

CalleriSlaven Bilic has named four players who have particularly impressed him in training during the international break.

Speaking to the  London Evening Standard he named Pedro Obiang, Mark Noble, Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri as impressive.

Slav pushed those players available to him through a tough training regime as he attempted to iron out the faults he has identified.

He said: “We used the time to work on fitness and I am really happy with the way we have trained, with players such as Pedro Obiang, Mark Noble, Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri.

“We had many players — about 13 I think — who were away with their countries but we trained hard with those who were still with us.”

Hugh, you should have read on mate. The one interesting thing Slav did say was it will be hard for those not currently training with the first team squad to feature over the coming month, and he named Carroll and Sakho! I’m surprised and disappointed by this comment. As soon as either are injury free they should be brought back.

Rush Carroll back? and he will be out until next May 2017!

Not rush him back jaybs, bring him back when he is injury free. at 75 per cent he has to be an improvement on what we’ve got up top currently.

Well i have not given up on Calleri i saw him in the Copa Libertadores when he finished top scorer in it & looked very good.Ok it aint the standard of the CL in Europe but there was some very handy teams in it.
Writing players off after a couple of matches is stupid. The trouble is we have too many fans who do just that.
