Bilic and chairmen agree: “We must get something”

|

bilicbirkikaraSlaven Bilic has almost spelt it out as certainty and he has no problem Liverpool close in on the London Stadium – he has to get something from the  match on Saturday evening.

Hi regular chats with the chairmen David Sullivan and David Gold appear to be making that a certainty and he has no problem making his own position very clear.

Quite apart from the requirement to get a point or three by any means is the international break wilderness that follows should he fail.

It means that a manager who has been under intense pressure for months will spend a fortnight on the edge and almost waiting for the mobile to ring showing the boardroom number!

He admitted during his presser: “I know the situation. I spoke to the chairmen (after the Crystal Palace game) as I do after every game. We need something from our next game.

Of course [I need something]. Every win, even in a Cup, will take me and us out of that position. I know my job is to look after the team and we’re thinking about a very important game.”

I get the gist of what your on about!

One more game to save his job – what’s the point? We all know he’s a Dead Man Walking, it’s like a Chinese Water Torture.

For God’s sake, put him out of his misery!

So, if we lose to Liverpool, I am sure that the agony and waiting (for Slav and everyone else West Ham!!) will continue up to the Watford game, if not longer.
Please, if there is a ‘God of Common Sense’, make the decision soon, even if it involves using Terry Westley as our care-taker manager-could turn out to be quite a pleasant surprise!
