Bilic breaks silence

|

BilicupSlaven Bilic has broken a near four-day silence to declare: ” “I have to get us playing better immediately.”

The manager went into no details how that was going to happen but sees the match against Spurs tomorrow night as a chance to sort things out.

He said: “It is a chance for us. It is not coming a couple of weeks time or three weeks, it is tomorrow night

“In this situation, it is a really good thing. We have to lift ourselves, we have trained and as I said, we have to play better. Friday was very disappointing although every Premier League game is difficult.”

The manager is clearly under no illusions about the pressure he is under and that without a dramatic improvement could be out of a job by Sunday morning.
Skybet’s latest odds on him being the next manager to leave the Premier League are now  8/11.

I might put a few quid on him KEEPING his job- i am just not sure what else he has to do to get sacked. But I have a feeling any bookmaker I offer my money to will send for the men in white coats to take me away

He says ‘We have trained’ as if that’s a surprise…then maybe it is!

  • Wembley1980 says:

We have trained and I have told them we have to play better! How much does he earn for that? It’s unbelievable it’s embarrassing he is clueless.

  • Dan46 says:

Actually feel a bit sorry for him,he has had to contend with a move to a horrible stadium for football and being given some truly awful transfers to work with and I don’t believe he chooses the transfers ,anyone who thinks he went to Sullivan and asked for those 13 players last year is a idiot

Wow, I’m as upset and surprised as anyone that Slav is still in the job but I don’t like the hatred being expressed towards him. He’s being paid to do a job and I don’t think he’s trying to do that job badly. Let’s just try and get behind the team until the inevitable happens or Slav turns a corner and we end up in the top 6 – there goes a flyi pig!
