“Bilic reaction said it all”- the fans speak

|
West Ham came out winners of one of the great blood and thunder nights under the Boleyn lights.
It was as unlikely a victory as one could have imagined at the end of the first 45 minutes but a couple of great changes to the line-up at half time sorted everything big time.
Here’s how the fans at the ClaretandHugh Facebook page @https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/ have responded to a fabulous victory.
bilicsmilesO The biggest positive for me apart from the result was Bilic realising it wasn’t working and changing things at half time
O Bilic doesn’t sugar coat anything, if it’s not working he will change it and tell the truth afterwards. Yesterday’s game was crying out for Carroll as we had no outlet going forward during the first half, 2 substitutions and a change about in defence saw us become a much better team in the second half and we should have won by more goals
O Absolutely and great to see him urging the crowd on when we were on the front foot in that s/half
It was  a deserved win after a gutsy four or five games holding it together without key players. It was good to see Lanzini and Carroll add pace into the second half. Antonio I thought had a good game, menacing, strong with creative pace. Ginger Pele was outstanding again as was Adrian. Looking forward for full squad return.

Bilic reaction at the final whistle said it all. That’s all I wanted for Christmas 3pts COYI X

O Well AC is only three goals away from being our joint top scorer! Think he could work well with EV and MA, he won two or three headers in the box that i recall, was fouled in the box on one occasion and missed one he perhaps should have buried but he looked a lot sharper to me, if he stays fit and keeps his confidence up who knows 2016 could be a good year for him and us.
O I know we have all perhaps been a tad frustrated during this period of missing first teamers but let’s be honest SB and the fit players have weathered a storm and there is every reason to think with the Payet / Lanzini act about to resume we could well push on for that top six and maybe even the top four. I mean the League is there for the taking for someone this year and so too are the champions league places. All the top teams have slipped up more than once this season and so we could given an injury free 2016 be in with a shout come May.

Billic is rational, honest and has a real plan B while understanding the west ham way-he has ticked all the right boxes for me.

Yes we landed the right man even perhaps by default.I think Benitez, Klopp or Bielsa (not sure on spelling) would have wanted more money but I am sure the results may not have been as fruitful as under Bilic.I love the way the Croatian support staffer (apologize for not knowing his name) gets in Bilic’s ear during the game.I doubt what he says would be in English.Great time to be a Hammer. The best is yet to come.IMHO
