Bilic slams the “basic mistakes”

|

BilicandnobleSlaven Bilic has made it crystal clear he’s nowhere near happy with some of the team’s basic mistakes.

The manager explained : “We can talk about being happy with our reaction and determination, spirit and winning the second balls but we need to do that from the start.

“The quality doesn’t always have to be there, sometimes you have to do what is necessary. But some of the basic things we are doing wrong, I am nowhere being OK with some of our mistakes.

“I’m not only talking about some of the goals we conceded but dealing with their throw ins and long balls.

He told www.whufc.com: “Mistakes happen in football; sometimes you can’t do anything about it.

“Tactically and physically we are fine, but hopefully we will sort out our problems in time for the Crystal Palace game.”

Well said Slav ! As you said in your interview 3 times in 8 games is not acceptable, it also was the case in Europe with the slow starts, in two of the league games we played better once we got started but didn’t get the result.

  • ironswatch says:

and Nobel better buck up his ideas cos he is making to many mistakes and his place will soon come under pressure with Song on the way back

  • Dean C says:

Noble was lucky to stay on the pitch Saturday, many refs could have easily of booked him again for that challenge, collision, block off.Whatever you want to call it 😉
