Billy Bonds stand images leaked

|

Images of preparations for the the Billy Bonds Stand big reveal have been leaked on Social Media before this evening’s ceremony at the London Stadium.

West Ham were hoping to keep the finer details under wraps as a surprise for supporters but with such a big stadium with so many people working there it has proved an impossible feat.  The club have already revealed that Billy Bonds will come out just before kick off against Newcastle to a guard of honour of former players with Alvin Martin and Sir Trevor Brooking both part of the opening ceremony.   Supporters have been asked to be their seats by 5.10pm.  Those in the East Stand have Claret, White and Blue bags laid out on their seats to help create a mosaic of the words Billy Bonds. Instructions on the bags which can be seen below say “Raise the flag for Billy Bonds: Today, we ask that you play your part in this afternoon’s pre-match spectacle as the West Ham family comes together to honour Billy Bonds’

‘So the moment the players emerge from the tunnel, please lift this bag up high above your head, with the blank side facing the pitch. This will create a Billy Bonds mosaic. We thank you sincerely for playing your part in creating a stunning visual tribute. Thank you for your magnificent support!”
