Boost for Irons as Brighton suffer injury blow

|

Near ever-present Brighton and Hove Albion defender, Tariq Lamptey has been ruled out of the clash with the Hammers at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Brighton boss Graham Potter has revealed that the right-back will be missing from his line up after suffering a hamstring

Lamptey missed the 1-1 draw with Sheffield United last weekend, after suffering problem with his hamstring in the build-up to that game.

And ahead of Albion’s trip to West Ham on Sunday, Potter gave the following update on Lamptey and the rest of his squad.

He said: “Tariq will miss the West Ham game at this stage, apart from that there are no fresh concerns.”

The Hammers have Arthur Masuaku ruled out and  there remains a doubt about Mikey Antonio who is currently rated at 50/50 to make an appearance on the bench as the Hammers look to take their points tally to 24 for the season..
