Borg assimilated into Aston Villa

|

West Ham youngster, Oscar Borg has joined Aston Villa on a two and a half year contract after being released by West Ham.  The 18 year old has been previously dubbed as the new Gareth Bale and two years ago the Hammers fought off keen interest from Manchester United when he was just 16.

He was once considered one of the most promising young prospects in English football, and spent time on trial with the Manchester United under-18 side before a move collapsed. He was compared to Gareth Bale for his direct dribbling and left-footed crossing ability. His move to Manchester United was pulled after a compensation package with West Ham failed to be agreed, and Borg instead signed a two-year professional contract to commit his immediate future to the Hammers.

Borg joined the Academy at the age of 10 but he has now swapped one claret and blue shirt for another.

So first our Irish Messi leaves and now our Bale but we still have our JOB,
Obviously a championship player and we did not need that now

Always very highly thought of wasn’t he.Just goes to show that talent at 12 or 14 isn’t always carried through to an older age group.I thought he had gone already if I’m honest.Seemed to had disappeared off the face of the earth for West Ham.
