Bowen wins England call

|

Jarrod Bowen has been handed an England call-up ahead of the upcoming international games.

The Three Lions are set to play four Nations League games in June, taking on Hungary, twice, Germany, and Italy.

Bowen was set to be featured in the squad in March but a foot injury saw him ruled out.

However, he is now in the squad for the upcoming games.

Bowen has been in sensational form throughout this season, scoring 12 goals and registering 12 assists in the Premier League campaign.

That form has now been rewarded with a call-up to the Three Lions squad, alongside midfield team-mate Declan Rice, who has become a staple in the squad over the past few years.

Bowen has never played for England at any level so his senior debut would also be his first ever appearance for the national team.
