Brady lifts lid on Slaven’s interview

|

bilic7Karren Brady seems pleased with Slaven Bilic’s appointment claiming that David Gold and David Sullivan worked night to make the correc t choic.

And writing in her Sun column she declared: “He convinced us he was the man to take on that challenge.”

She added: “Although he is yet to manage in the Premier League, Slaven is very knowledgeable about it and watched hours and hours of West Ham games in preparation for his interview.”

“He is also a realist and agreed that although our first priority is stability, with the right signings a top-ten finish and an extended run in one of the cup competitions is not unrealistic.

“Slaven was also clearly the people’s choice after leading most of the online supporter polls and their initial reaction to his appointment has generally been one of delight.

“The feeling, it seems, is mutual as Slaven clearly has a deep affection for what he called a “special” club, he has a clear vision for how he wants to improve the team and I know he and David Sullivan have already agreed to lodge bids for a number of Europe’s hottest prospects,” added Brady

  • Green man says:

    Go on the Slav!!

  • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

Sounds like she’s moved on from BFS and is fully behind Slav as she should be. Now all she has to do is put Andy Grays lesser half in his place again.

  • bubs says:

Changed her taste in men, gone is the older man with the wide gerth and no humour but that sly wink and wet lips,
Now she has gone for he Liam Neeson worn look with muscular body and brains,
But what’s even better she has gone from outdated football style looking to defend and respect the point,
To a advanced European style with the paying public in mind but also looking for results
Are you reading this post Keys you twot

    • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

Am I detecting a little man crush for Slav there bubs lol can’t blame you he’s quite the charmer haha

  • rugbyirons says:

Nothing she says is ever of interest.why doesn’t she just leave it to the owners. She is pointless in the bigger picture.

  • mattefumi15 says:

I think West Ham could finish higher than 10th position next year. I bet 8th or 7th. I trust in Slav. 😉

  • bubs says:

If he gets rid of Nolan,O,Brien and Magia I will love him for ever,
Just trying to bring out my feminine side Quickdraw,
Should not choose the men for Lady B but this must feel like a honey trap after 4 years of the 2 Daves,BFS and old McDonald,
She would probably love to she Slav in a mankini playing his instrument

    • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

Haha brilliantly put bubs. A bit like us fans once there was gloom now there is sunshine

  • bubs says:

I going higher than that if we get that special midfielder and Right back Matte,
If we can get back last seasons early form and add 4 more class players we will have a good squad bit thin but hoping for Poyet,Oxford,Lee and Burke to step up to the plate
With Henry and our new left back ( sorry forgot name and can’t be bothered to google )

  • mattefumi15 says:

Maybe yes, honestly this Man has something special: Passion, charisma and he loves west ham. If we cut the deadwood and we add quality purchases the only teams I consider better than us are: Gooners, Chelski, City and maybe Man utd.

    • mattefumi15 says:

And last but not least the Boleyn factor. Its last year, it could be a Magic year… 😉

  • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

Matte you’re spot on if all the dice land the right way it’s going to be a very special season.
Btw I’m glad you’re talking about football again and not posting pictures of Dudley’s own Dirk Diggler, that picture of 70s porn star Big Sam gave me nightmares lol

  • rads says:

Dont forget Matte we finished below many other teams last year. They will also strengthen during the summer.Slav coming to us will not suddenly turn us from midtable to a top 5 or 6 team.It will be a slower process than that.I dont want you getting too excited, lol,he is only Slav.Transfer budgets buy you top 4-6 finishes. Not Slav 😉

  • ChickenRunner says:

Fuxk me im all for positive thinking but dont kick the ass out of it,lol.Theres now way we will have the Fifth strongest squad come august.I will settle for top 10.No way we will be close to the top four.Keep smoking the crack lads 😀

  • mattefumi15 says:

Yes I Know Rads, you’re right, but I’ve Got positive feelings… And sorry I forgot the most important factor: The Genius has gone. We finished 12th with him, maybe with Slav we can win the PL next year… Lol 😀

    • boys of '66 says:

I think you have started on the vino early today Matte,it has you dreaming of big things, haha, stick to the mineral water this time of the day 😀

  • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

We’ll have a stronger squad and we won’t be respecting the point anymore which will mean more points in reality,so aim and hope high I say which is top 6 if we gel. Now where’s my crack pipe lol

  • Michael Miller says:

I’ve never understood why she writes this drivel in the Sun – oh, I suppose the money might have something to do with it – but really she just demeans herself and West Ham – I don’t care about her but denigrating West Ham is just not on!
