Burnley supporters fear star man James Tarkowski could depart Turf Moor before the end of the transfer window.
The defender is not involved in the game against Leicester City and Clarets boss and missed out with a toe problem which meant he didn’t feature in the Carabao Cup against Sheffield United in midweek.
Claret fans have taken to social media claiming they believe their centre back is West Ham-bound according to Lancs Live.
West Ham have submitted their final offer of £35m to Burnley with a £30m transfer fee and £5m of add-ons
With just 24 months on his Turf Moor contract and about to turn 28 next month that offer could be too good an offer for the Burnley board to reject in the current climate.
With no other active bidders, David Moyes is hoping he has his man as early as next week as he hinted on Friday.
I believe what you published made a lot of sense. But,
think about this, what if you typed a catchier post title?
I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website, but
what if you added something to possibly grab people’s attention? I mean Burnley fans believe Tarkowski is Hammers-bound – Claretandhugh
is kinda plain. You might look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create post headlines to get viewers interested.
You might add a video or a pic or two to
get people excited about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it would
bring your posts a little livelier.
Thanks for your opinion
Let’s ask Gerry Bowen what he thinks of Tarkowski. Should have gone off with a red card for that studs up leg beaker when he played against us last.
My prediction, Tarkowski to Leicester on deadline day for 35-40 million. Depending on whether dean Dyce can get a replacement in in time.
Would be nice but suspect Leicester is the destination if he does move.
The only way it happens is if he comes through the door as Rice goes out in the opposite direction .
The fact that Tarkowski who played every minute last season has missed two matches already suggests that he is on his way out at Burnley – I assume that the fact that Wiltshire didnt play in the Carabao Cup game against Charlton could mean that he is on teh way out at West Ham. I have no idea where Witshire may end up – and similarly Tarkowski as others have said could be on his way to Leicester who had to play Ndidi in central defence yesterday
We can only wait and see
