The three missed matches during the international break but Kudus returned to the Ghana team as a second half sub in their final match having suffered a recurrence of back problems which we understand has plagued him for several weeks.

Having returned to West Ham, the Club will now assess his back again although we were told this morning that the club is more than hopeful he will be involved.

Hjalmar Ekdal has been absent since late August for the home side due to a knee injury while forward players Jóhann Berg Gudmundsson and Nathan Redmond are also expected to be absent.

Lyle Foster, meanwhile, has been ruled out of action after being granted leave by Burnley to prioritise his mental wellbeing.

Saturday’s 3pm kick-off will NOT be broadcast live in the UK, but can be followed via the club’s live blog on whufc.com and their app and across our social media channels. They will also have highlights and exclusive reaction for you after the final whistle.
