CandH Exclusive: Bowen injury update

Hammers hopes are high that Jarrod Bowen will be available for the game at Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon following manager David Moyes admitting that the player has an injury issue.

The No 20 took a knock in the last game against Bournemouth and that therefore may be missing from the match, but it seems that the injury may not be as bad as at first feared.

That’s great news as Moyes will be aiming to put his strongest possible team out which looks set to include the returned central defender Nayef Aguerd who was impressive against Silkeborg in midweek.

Bowen would be a very big miss in Manchester as apart from his obvious attacking anilities he is always available for the out ball when the team is under pressure at the back.

A key London Stadium source discussing the position told us exclusively: “He has a minor ankle injury which is, hopefully ok but will take a last-minute fitness test.”
