Irons eyeing Spaniard

|

West Ham are eyeing a potential move to sign Hugo Guillamon from Valencia, according to a new report in Spain.

The Hammers are said to be eyeing potential reinforcements in midfield as boss David Moyes looks to bring new blood into the squad.

Guillamon is 22 but has already won three caps for Spain and has clocked 80 appearances for the club.

Mundo Deportivo claims that the Liga ace has a release clause of £43m, and also has the ability to play at centre-back.

The Hammers made attempts to strengthen their midfield in the summer, bringing in Flynn Downes from Swansea City, and also managed to secure Lucas Paqueta’s signature from Lyon.

However, it seems that they could also make a move to sign Guillamon either in January or in the summer.

This could be one to keep an eye on, as we know how much Moyes appreciates players who are versatile and can play in more than one position.
