Carroll gets down for business

|

Just days after the birth of his son ‘Arlo Thomas Carroll’, Andy is back at Chadwell Health today training hard to be fully fit for next season. The 26 year new dad posted a video of himself training on social media platform Instagram. With just two weeks before the first Europa league game and seven weeks before the first Premier League game Carroll appears to be determined to be fit to play his part this season.

Sunny days training at Chadwell Heath!!

I look forward to see Andy in action and hope he has been able to overcome his injury problems. IMHO he’s not done anything himself to deserve criticism, but he sure has a huge price tag to justify. He didn’t set that price, our club paid for him and as far as I’m concerned he’s done his best the few matches he’s been 100% fit. He’s got around 30% goals/matches, and if he manages to stay fit he probably will deliver 50% goals/apps.

He’ll play under a better manager now, in a different system. He plays with spirit, and as long as he does I’ll back him as a supporter.

Eriko I agree with most of your points,if AC uses his head for more than heading then hopefully he’ll have a good season and prove his critics wrong

If he stays fit and can fit into the new style he could have a brilliant season,
    Might save us some money

Carroll will be injured again within two months!!We will be short of strikers again!!Totally ****ed off with Carroll!!He’s an injury waiting to happen!!

I dont really see any way that Carroll wont end up injured again. He seems to be cursed, lol.I feel bad for the kid but feeling sorry for him doesnt help us being left short of men up front.I must admit im fed up of it now.Hippo signed us a china doll it appears 😉

We’ve had worse.. Kieron Dyer and Dean Ashton.. shame about the latter, he could have been a legend!

  • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

Our only hope for him is that we won’t be playing hippo hoofball so he won’t be doing all those aerial challenges and his time will be used effectively.
    I know clutching at straws…….

Lol,to be fair Deano got bashed once & it was goodnight Vienna.I am perservering with keeping my faith in AC but it is wearing very thin.Time we saw more for our investment & dopey wages paid to him.I live in hope but expect many more instagram hospital shots from him next season 😀

Carroll situation really bugs me.Hope he proves my fears wrong this season. My patience is running thin im afraid.

  • eriko says:

Yeah realism here ought to be based on history, and history ain’t good that’s for sure. This season will be the decider. What is a positive, also for AC, is he won’t be picked automatically if fit, so maybe a more careful introduction to the first team and rotation because of competition will serve him fitness wise. Time will tell.. Slav will give youth a chance anyways, if he’s crooked maybe a young surprise hits us?

I’d say Elliot Lee but he waited so long under BFS he must be in his mid thirties now lol

    Hahahaha! XD

I wonder if AC adapted his style he would get injured less? My worry is that he is a big lump constantly landing on ankles and feet which constantly are under strain. Hopefully we will have the ball in the floor more which should help!- he is actually good on the floor.
Maybe new season will be mostly on bench coming on last twenty if we need a goal or to defend a lead.maybe less chance of injury and possible sale in January ?!
Sakho Valencia to start unless we get anyone else in.
