Andy Carroll has treated some pretty unnecessary remarks from Karren Brady with the total contempt they clearly deserved.
Nobody can be happy with the amount of time Andy spent on the treatment table whilst at the Hammers but for the club chairman to describe him as a “behemoth from ages past” is way, way, out of order.
It’s precisely the sort of remark one would expect to find on social media from a loudmouth fan rather than the vice chairman who moonlights in many other areas of her life.
It’s allowed from the paying customers who were disappointed to see the striker out of action so regularly but it seems to us that Brady truly overstepped the line given her position at the club
Thankfully Carroll was having none of it after what was probably a dream return to Tyneside following his trouble torn and injury-ravaged spell at the London Stadium
As a West Ham fan, I’m with Carroll. Lady Brady is Boris with a wig on. I don’t believe a word of her populist garbage.
…and in another of her publicity hungry ventures, she lauds it over others telling them how to conduct themselves! She needs to take a long look at herself in the mirror, then close the door on her way out of the club. Who the hell does she think she is?

Reading those definitions I don’t think I’d mind being called ‘a great beast’, I’m not sure about the ‘Hippopotamus’ or being ‘something huge or gigantic’ bits though! 🤔

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but crass comments from a woman who has a track record of crass comments should surprise nobody!
The embarrassment she brings upon the club is the issue which should be addressed, although that is unlikely to happen any time soon.
She is right, but she is a total idiot to go public with such a remark.
Carroll is suddenly fit again for Newcastle, after being on the sicknote a whu for years and years.
I think she is bitter that wasted so much money on that donkey, but that’s not the donkeys fault…

I agree with the comments on Brady. But I can’t believe nothing’s been said about Carroll’s record over the seven seasons. Overall cost to the club around £50m and returned around 1 goal per 4 games. There should be an inquiry on his transfer to West Ham. Let’s see if he stays fit for Newcastle.
