Celtic keen on West Ham left back

|

HendrieAccording to reports in Scotland, Celtic are weighing up a move for West Ham’s left back, Stephen Hendrie as a replacement for Emilio Izaguirre.

The Scottish Daily Record claims the former Hamilton defender is on the Hoops’ radar as the Honduran international looks set to quit Parkhead in the summer for a move to the US.

The former Hamilton star was frequently scouted by Celtic before his free transfer to the Hammers last summer when his contract expired with Hamilton.

Hendrie has recently returned to West Ham after a loan at Southend United. He made five appearances for the Shrimpers after joining on a one-month loan deal from the Hammers. The full-back scored the winner in the 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town earlier this month.

We need him as cover for Cressie or even put pressure on him for the position, just because Cressie is number 1 now that could change tomorrow,
Look what happened when Antonio got his chance,
The same with Henry,Burke Page Cullen and Oxford,
Randolf has taken his chance and could end up with a Cup final place,
At the moment we have Obiang pushing both Noble and Kouyate for their place and Song looking on,
Moses,Valencia,Carroll,Sakho are going to be fighting with Payet Lanzini and Antonio for 3 places,
Reid and Tomkins will be pushing Collins and Ogbonna,
And every name mentioned is of a top player who other clubs would want
    This is our time
RIP the Spuds a new one tomorrow
