Oggy reckons he must keep this going until he’s dead

Brilliant Angelo Ogbonna was at the top of his form last night and then made a colourful description of how long he and the team must keep their incredible recent effort going.

The Italian central defender made eleven clearances and two interceptions, before Chicharito came within inches of snatching all three points .

And afterwards he declared: “We are not individuals. If I play well, it’s because the team played well. I think the team is playing so much better than before and we have to keep this up until we are dead!

“We need to keep the concentration in every detail, because the details can change. If Chicha’s shot had gone in, it would have been totally different. When they got the free-kick right at the end with [Mesut] Ozil, it could also go in, but it hit the wall.

“In football, detail is so important so we have to be focused on everything.”

“I’m really proud of the team because we kept a clean sheet and we did really well. Hopefully, maybe on Saturday we can get three points.

“It’s not only about the clean sheets, but the way we have approached the last three games was so different than the way we approached the other games.

“In this game, we wanted to get something important and for us, for the staff and for everybody, it’s really good.”

It’s Stoke next and Ogbonna said: “Everybody wants to show what they can do. The manager has put some basics in place which have helped us to do that.

“It’s difficult at Stoke, but this is a big chance to get three points up there. We needed to change attitudes and the way we approach games is much better than before.”

Ogbonna is another example of a player who has suddenly blossomed under the right encouragement and training methods. hard to believe he was the same player under Bilic.
    Plays with a full heart!!

Agree he was being written off by most myself included a couple months ago..
But shows what a propers staff training basics drills & Team work can do.
Oggy has had 3 incredible games looks like the player we bought from Juve where they are structured.
He even said It himself its about team work & organisation

Everything seems to be pointing towards a negative and clueless Bilic . Hope we didn’t leave it too late but , all the signs are positive. At this rate and level of performance with commitment and will to win it looks as if we will survive . Hats off to Noble ,,, he has found that extra yard . Looking good again …… it’s amazing really . I was one of those critizing him but he has dumbfounded me .
Mom Ogbonna , no doubt in my mind .

I don’t think its to late Kevin & correct about Bilic it seems it just go so bad under him even worse then we thought. Now most the players are upbeat have something positive to say.. Seem to like Moyes & his organisation. Seeing players revert to players they were & other in excelling in diff positions like Cresswell. Bilic seems just put them there w no directive or direction.
Its just mad to think how bad it was & this was all it took.
And I would give Moyes his 2yr extension arguable better in his 2nd year which is what we need & not a fast starter usually but did start fast here considering everything. And have real football coaches not handball which Bilic turned down opportunities to help in staff.
But enough in Bilic I like him & his enjoying his holiday.
No more loses this year under Moyes ⚒
