David Moyes confirmation

David Moyes has confirmed that Kurt Zouma  is back in training and ready to play in tomorrow night’s match with injury-hit Spurs

With a near entirely fit squad against the north Londoners who could have up to nine absentees the Hammers may have more if an edge than many may believe. It is never easy at that place but we will be looking to extend the current unbeaten run against the old enemy.

However, he knows how tough it will be regardless and is enormously impressed with manager  Ange Postecoglou whom he says has done a remarkable job. Declaring Spurs to be a really good side and that the former Celtic boss has made made a big difference to how they play, the crowd and the atmosphere

However, he said: “I’m a bit surprised everyone else was surprised after what he did at Celtic, where the pressure is enormous and he coped and dealt with it.”

Discussing the Hammers situation he said the only player missing would be Mikey Antonio who is still recovering from a knee ligament injury: “There is no Antonio, he’s not back fit yet. Kurt Zouma is back in training and we’re happy to have him back.

He’s been fine. It’s been a terrible situation but the club are supporting him really well. It’s horrible, as nobody should be broken into. Hopefully, with the reward being put up, the people will be arrested.”
On the game itself he continued: “Going to Tottenham is a tough away game. We need to be competitive and hard to beat and when we get those moments, we have some talented players and we need to show we are able to play.”
