David Moyes told reporters this afternoon that recent results don’t change transfer plans for January insisting the club know what they need.
Moyes told reporters “It’s the clubs transfer plan, the club know what they need. Me coming in for a month doesn’t mean I would have all the solutions to what is needed. Obviously I have had a chance to work with the players and get to know them now, obviously there are some that I have not seen that are injured or coming back from long-term injury, but we have an idea of what we would like to do if possible”
“My job when I came was to work with the players I have got. I said all along that you don’t talk about players at other clubs, you talk about your own players. I have to say, we have not discussed other players as much, maybe one or two but our players at Stoke were excellent, the all around team performances have been very, very good.”

Inward bound – Fellaini, Moore from Reading at centre back, and Moyes may take a punt on Ings. Watch for the arrival of a Tim Cahill play-a-like.
Outward bound – Sakho (I think he wants away), Carroll, Chicharito (no point staying given history between him and Moyes), Fonte (who’d want him) and Edmilson and Byram, perhaps.
Sadly, I reckon Lanzini will either be pushing to leave or lured by interest. With Deli Ali way off song, Poche may come poaching. Let’s see. One way or the other Moyes will be involved in players going in both directions.
I don’t see the point in getting Moore him & Burke are very similar & but Burke 3 years younger. Same Height CB in back 4 or 3 can cover RB. Yes Moore is more experienced. But I don’t think we need a CB in Jan now we are organised w Rice Burke coming back maybe OX. Then have Oggy Reid Ginge back & cresswell now LCB & Kouyate as been best at CB.
Think we need a Full back more then CB & been linked w Opare from Ausburg who good be good buy £3-£4m 27yp w pace RB can play LB too.
But wouldn’t sell Byram think when he gets for Pearce & Moyes will will help him. He isn’t bad RB Bilic just didn’t fancy him but has pace can cross & can cover RM.
No one will but Fonte he is Injured. And tho I think we have been buying to old Fonte was our best CB this season under Bilic. And Ginge is always solid. He couldn’t even get a year extension but has said he wants to retire at West Ham left Wales to focus just in West Ham deserves a Testimonial.
I would sell AC if someone wants him but of course he geta inures celebrating Sakhos goal on bench ffs.
If they could work something out with Sahko bc Moyes seems to like him for then Bilic I would keep him bc he is most rounded CF we have.
And I would hate to see Chicharito go hope him & Moyes can work something ou bc being playing 2 up front & he is perfect for that but needs more then 10m sub’s. He setup Sakho lovely don’t know how he missed it.
But Chic can finish & has shown he can score goals. We use him eight & HW can be a 20 goal striker.
I don’t think they will sell him In January anyway but he will want to go if doesnt start getting games.
Mou won’t let Fellaini go in Jan tho Woodward might but Mou loves him. I actually like Fellaini can play DM & #10. So might be summer before but if can get him on a free wouldn’t be bad especially reasonable contract now that he is 30
And I hope we don’t sell kids tho Quina is looking possible
But most keep Rice & Ox who are Versatile & great in positions we need.
Hopefully we get a creator we need a creative player most of all makes Manu better & not to mention if he gets injured.
But someone like Mohamad Elynoussoui who has 11 assists 5 goals for Basel & is 23yo w Pace Norway Intl.
Also like James Madisson English 21yo Norwich 7 goals 8 assists & 2 free kick goals in 2 weeks.
